Minor League Pitching

Another question about somethin in the MLB Real Simulation League. During the final week of the season, three teams that I know of had minor league pitchers called up to the majors to pitch. As far as I can tell they weren't replacing injured players. Is this normal?

yeah it's normal, they do it to make sure that the starting rotation pitchers are rested to start for the playoffs
