I saw that bit on T.V. it is prety sad that not only are they also looting. The cop who's interviewed also tries to walk away and then turn it around on the newsman by telling him that he's also in the store looting in an indirect way. They gotta use all of this film to prosecute these bastards after it's all said and done. Food, clothing, camping gear, portable radios, even firearms, (I'd want one and I'd probably go and turn it in afterwards.) and general survival equipment is one thing but plasma T.V.'s and other stuff of a non-survival nature is ridiculous.

nope....the first report out was that the cops shot the contractors......then they changed the story......down the memory hole.......be wary where the spin goes......thats probably where the truth is.........they are calling the people of NO insurgents......the feds are trying to take control......the truth is getting out....its too big.....too many eyes focused on this BS....also if they are gonna do some big terrorist attack they will do it soon to shift focus off of NO

It is a good source because if you do a bit of research on it, you'll often find that there was something going on that was covered up or just not reported for various reasons. Kind of like mythology. If you go and look hard enough, you'll find that there is some truth to most stories. It's the interpretation that gets the facts distorted.

OK, so it's still not the government calling the people of New Orleans insurgents, it's just that the mainstream media is doing it as well as the bloggers. That's really stupid on the part of the media, because the people in New Orleans who are firing on the police and military certainly aren't insurgents--they're just common criminals.

He's right, but note that the disgraceful behaviour isn't on the part of the government, it's on the part of a bunch of criminals.


Spc. Cliff Ferguson of the 527th Engineer Battalion pointed out that he knows there are plenty of decent people in New Orleans, but he said it is hard to stay motivated considering the circumstances.

“This is making a lot of us think about not reenlisting.” Ferguson said. “You have to think about whether it is worth risking your neck for someone who will turn around and shoot at you. We didn’t come here to fight a war. We came here to help.”

Again, note that the army is there to help, not enslave or kill anyone.
