How important is the 'History' page for showing your team's success and progress?

Writing our records down, It's really the only way to keep track of how our teams have improved/declined.

And, of course I'd like to see an overall leaderboard of GM's, top in mogul points, wins, championships....Kinda like the Hall of Fame on the CD.I think that would give managers something to shoot for. Although it probably would be next to impossible to code, it would be a great feature.

It would be nice if there were some way to have more historical stats on there. Things such as runs scored/ runs allowed (or failing that BA and ERA). I know that might be tough because of space issues, but I figured I'd post my wish.

The Mogul rating on the history page represents the rating for the team during the entire history of its existence in the league. It would be nice to have an individual's mogul rating as well (i.e. If I take over Tampa Bay in 2005, the history page should track both Tampa's overall mogul rating, as well as Tampa's rating since I took over in 2005.).

I also use the other figures on this page - attendence, revenue, even wins.

Most people who enjoy simulation games are to one degree or another, stat buffs. The bottom line is -- the more the better. All players love to see how they have done, and the stats they have produced. If anything, that page should be highly expanded.

Even as the history page stands now it could be greatly improved if the GMs name were on the line at the top of the first year he took over the team. When he left, the next season would have a computer symbol over it, or the new GMs name if someone else took it over. GM totals as well as team totals would be helpful.

There really does need to be some sort of scoreboard for GMs - that's partly why we play.

I don't understand Kyuss' problems with equalized leagues. In equalized, leagues, all teams are supposed to be scored as "Tier 3" teams for mogul points.

I think it'd be cool to have an historical list of the year-by-year World Series, ALCS/NLCS, and divisional playoff results in addition to the team-by-team breakdowns. If I want to see who won the 2014 WS in a league for example, I have to search through (potentially) 30 team breakdowns to find it. Having such a historical list would make things much nicer, I think.

Some good ideas here. (By which I of course mean "some ideas I've also had." Heh). I agree that the history page should break down who was running the team at what span--computer started 60-70, human user went 14-18 at the end of the season and ran it after that, etc. I also like the idea of a breakdown such as with the CD Rom, so you can see the standings by year and the playoff breakdown as well.

I think the history page is pretty good. There should be a history page for all the leagues you've ever been in.

There could be more added... everyone is right on what needs to be added... but I think we should try to get these new features ASAP
