I always thought that the ages of the players in 2001 were suppossed to be thier current age. However, Jason Giambi is listed as 26, when right now he is 31. He is the only one I happened to notice but there could be others. Is this an error?

I noticed that also! Since I have several teams I noticed that players may have different ages on different leagues (but I may be wrong on this).
Also.... the stats as they are listed on "current stats", "last season" and "career"....are they stats in Baseball Mogul only or are they real baseball stats.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
There may have been some errors...as we import everything by hand and use whatever data we can find on the web.
The last season stats for 2000 are accurate (real MLB stats), as are the career stats.
As the future progresses, the new stats are added to the MLB career stats (up to 2000).
Hope this answers your questions.
BTW, the age shouldn't change between leagues...each player's peak age is randomized, but their real age is not.

Well it appers that Rafael Furcal is 23 not the 21 he claimed he was. I think that a few of the players from poorer countries like The Dominican Republic lie about their ages. I am not saying this to insult them it is just that Orlando Hernandez of New York is older than he is. Thsi is not to insult the people who are strait forward about their age but there are a few who lie or their parents do. Danny Almonte as an example.
