I am the Houston Astros in Beta LEague 9 and have a question. The computer controlled Colorado Mountain seemed to have picked up every free agent before the 2nd season started that wasnt signed, therefore having a payroll well above 1,000. I dont know if a human did this and quit, but it is impossible for anybody to compete against the 50-6 megagiant. I know the point of a beta is not to win but to test, but I guess I am wondering what happens since Colorado seems to have all these superstars locked up until 2006-2007. They may be broke for years and years but until then they will most likely win the world series every year until then.
