On Sunday, December 18th, we will REDUCE the number of "League Commissioner" slots available for some of the account types.
We are making this change because we have TOO MANY leagues, and NOT ENOUGH team owners. It's frustrating to open an account, create a league, and then have a hard time getting a decent number of team owners for that league. Empty leagues also fill up the BMO servers, which can lead to problems for the active leagues.
So, we are keeping the number of TEAM slots the same for each account type. But REDUCING the number of commissioner slots.
This is a list of the CURRENT account privileges:
Bronze: PLAY in 1 league.
Silver: PLAY in 3 leagues & be the COMMISSIONER of 1 league
Gold: PLAY in 10 leagues & be the COMMISSIONER of 3 leagues
And this is a list of the NEW ACCOUNT TYPES we will implement on December 18th:
Bronze: PLAY in 1 league.
Silver: PLAY in 3 leagues
Gold: PLAY in 10 leagues & be the COMMISSIONER of 1 league
We are also adding a Platinum Account with a monthly fee of $19.95:
Platinum: PLAY in 20 leagues & be the COMMISSIONER of 3 leagues
We are letting you know about this in advance because WE WILL GRANDFATHER ALL EXISTING BMO ACCOUNTS as of December 18th. If you are currently a commissioner of one or more leagues, THIS WILL NOT CHANGE. For example, if you have a Silver Account NOW (or you sign up for one before December 18th), then you will RETAIN the ability to PLAY IN three leagues and be the COMMISSIONER for one league. If you sign up for a Silver Account AFTER December 18th, you will not have the ability to create and run a league.
If you have a Bronze Account and you were thinking about creating a league, this week is your last chance to upgrade to Silver. If you have friends that were interested in trying BMO, you should let them know that now is a good time to join because we will be reducing the commissioner privileges after December 18th.
