is this a bug or just stupid?
really... unless MLB removes its ban on 'roids....this will never happen.
3 players who could potentially ALL finish with 70 or more HRs on the SAME team??
uh...no.
The team is projected to go 142-40 for the season. 3 batters have over 36 HRs each, 3 batters have over .320 BA....3 batters have over 80 RBIs each (1 with 106 RBI).... the Rockies have 200 HRS AS A TEAM A THE ALL-STAR BREAK!?!?!?
and the All-Star game JUST ended.
??? this is turning into nintendo baseball now

Believe it or not, I've seen better. :)
Just picture this. Helton, Manny, and Pujols all on the same team. And that is the production you will get.

not sure, but maybe Baseball Mogul has some sort of protection...so players perform better when another great hitter hits ahead of them(which doesnt exist)

The game will eventually compensate for this. No team can get too dominant.
I know this for a fact. Players will start dropping off soon.

I have seen this happen before....in leagues where ppl tank on purpose, but not so in this league. I have 90s rated guys throughout my LAD team. my pitching staff is high 80s, 90s rated....YET, my pitchers are giving up 10-16 runs a game.
whatever it is, something has sent the league in disarray....a dominat team (without anyone tanking) and 90s rated players with 4-10 win-loss records and close to 5.00 or higher ERA.
check out this dud (has highest possible rating of 96 for contact and all 3 defensive ratings). yet guys in COL are hitting .350-50-100 at all-star break??

There seems to be little rhyme and reason to the hitting ratings. You'd expect a guy like that to be like Vlad with less power. Poor eye (swings at bad pitches) great contact (hits bad pitches). The online game also seems to punish low power players with great Eye/Contact. They get their walks but because of their low power, seem to only be able to hit the ball halfway through the infield. It also rewards low contact high Power/Eye players with inflated averages. You'd expect the guy to be like Dunn but instead he hits .280.
Of course it's hard to compare because there is no way to get league wide statistics to do some sort of analysis.

it happens all the time...loser Calvin Pickering is "dog eared".
He will hit with power...and half the time he hits near .300
the guy is a loser ratings wise....same with Mike Hessman....90 power and ALL other ratings below 74.
yet those guys continue to produce and hit well.
guys with 90+ contact....lucky to break .300 half the time.

13 games in August so far, COL is 10-3 and has hit 22 HRs. no drop off yet. They are still on pace to go 122-40.
Cash & Hawpe's avgs have gone up to .360

lol colorado is rigged
i remember when preston wilson used to be good in mogul and he hit 70+ Hrs/200 RBIs for 3 straight years. I'm pretty sure he was asking for 200 pts(40m) to resign
