i think the title of this thread may well be in error

holy crap jaromir jagr is still playing?!? and scoring goals?!? woooow I mean i was playing with him as my right wing in NHL '93. That's awesome. I saw the sports Illustrated face pics of each team...whoever decided to do that, it was a bad idea. There are like 10 blackhawks players missing large expanses of teeth. At first i thought, that means they play hard...but doesn't it mean they're on the wrong end of some serious whoopins?

i would totally deal high on Davis. good trade imo. i gave up on RA Dickey and dropped him in 1 league...wonder if i should dump him in the other as well. If you can't last against the white sox, what good are you. ugh

FYI I am getting political emails asking to support Snowden and hail him as a hero. It is weird tho - when i first saw this i googled Snowden and found all kinds of articles calling him a liar, threat, traitor, etc.

Yah man, I can't really agree that baseball fans get all hot n bothered about their sport. After 31 years of listening to the George Carlin routine, seeing football take center stage in American culture, and constantly hearing baseball slighted as too slow, too long, too many games, too many pudge-bellied players - in order to be a baseball fan you have to have something of a thick skin about it. I appreciate it for what it is - half sport, half art form, in my opinion. Soccer fans don't...
