This is what I mean when I keep saying that one of the biggest reasons I refuse to identify myself as a liberal, or really support them, is that they don't know when to stop. Here we have a whole thread filled with liberal apologists that are defending the mosque/community center for one single reason (which they won't admit of course): It's a minority group in this country. They found a cause (support the minority group!) and they'll defend it at all costs, even though all the excuses they use are exactly the opposite of what they post when they talk about catholics/christians. They even take shots at christianity in the same thread where they're defending islam, and somehow can't see the contradiction. I think my favorite part was seeing three of them pretend to think a German center opening next to a Holocaust Museum would be just dandy, because admitting how bad an idea that would be means they'd have to give ground on their Yay Muslim Building stance.
