Three very well respected admins got together recently and hashed out a plan. Not a plan of world domination- not even a plan to corner the cupcake market. The plan was making a mogul league our way. Myself (Jeremy), mhall23 and lebsoccer got together and hashed out a plan for the Mogul Underground- a new breed of mogul.
We're using the most up-to-date rosters possible. The draft class has 50+ real life draftees in it, and the moves through the trade deadline are included. More time has been spent on this file than is truly needed, but we're committed to starting with the best file possible.
Many leagues now use the Elias formula for type A and B free agency. However, I'm not a fan of the formula- RBI, Wins, IP, BA counting twice- it needs updating- and we've updated it. We've come up with a new expanded formula that truly evaluates a player's worth.
This league has a ton of interest already- it's almost half full based on word of mouth only. We have three terrific and very committed admins, and a great core group of members to start with. We'll be doing a random team draft to disperse teams for equality's sake.
Finally, this league is NOT first come, first serve. To weed out the people who join for a week and quit, we'll be choosing GMs to start with. There will definitely be a waiting list for this league, so sign up early and keep checking with us in the chat.
