    Mike Trout's Sept/Oct numbers. Raw numbers, not any of that SABR stuff that LQ fears so deeply.

    .289/.400/.500, 23 R, 5 HR, 7 SB in 30 games. WHAT A CHOKER. What a bum with that .900 OPS. And of course, that's not taking into account any defensive metrics for the grandstander, or baserunning metrics.

    Apparently the Rangers tried to trade for Andrelton Simmons to flip him to the DBacks for Upton. Offered Olt for Simmons. Interesting. I guess Andrus and Profar are staying put.
    Maybe the M's could offer Brad Miller along with Stefan Romero and James Paxton to get Upton

    In addition to it being different voters, it's quite clear that most voters are still stuck in the same mindset as you, and elevate a player's value based on the performance of his teammates in relation to the other teams that happen to be in the same division.
