Other cases can be made about FT disparity, like Kings vs. Lakers a long time ago, but in this case alone I that's how I see it. Especially Lebron making constant effort driving to the basket. The only way the Celts got to the basket was through pick n rolls.

Yeah, I was just putting it up there to contrast how we usually view the NBA as fixed to events that are way more fishy. I don't think the game was poorly officiated.

I have a fun game, which of these things that happened today is least likely to be phony?

1: Heat beat the Celtics in game 7, with LeBron attempting 2 more FTs than the entire Celtics team.

2: Union Rags wins Belmont Stakes after I'll Have Another retires due to a sudden injury suffered the day before the race; it's an injury common to doped horses, with I'll Have Another's trainer having been caught double-digit times for doping horses.

3: Tim Bradley defeating Manny Pacquiao with the bold strategy of using his face to damage Pacquiao's fists.

I'll go 3-2-1.

With 2 bombs last night, B. Harper has now hit 14 home runs at age 19! only 3 players in history have more. Ken Griffey Jr, Mel Ott and Tony Conigliaro (sp?). He also has scored more runs than any 19 yo MLB player since like 1936 or something. And maybe only 2 or 3 other 19 year olds have hit 2 HR's in 1 (MLB) game.
