Since there hasn't been a new league in seemingly forever, we decided to get one started up

This is a semi-retro league (starting up in 1998)

We'll be using BM 2011 (nobody seems to have BM 2013 & there won't be as much ratings volatility that seems to exist with BM 2012). If you don't have BM 2011, but still want to join the league, then PM me and we can see about trying to work something out

Kansas City - Surprisingly good team w/ Damon, Beltran, Dye, Sweeney, & Appier

Detroit - Rebuilding team for anyone looking for a challenge. Luis Gonzalez & Francisco Cordero are their best players

Milwaukee - Ben Sheets, Jeromy Burnitz, Geoff Jenkins & Jeff Cirillo are the young building blocks for the Brew Crew

St Louis - Big Mac, Ray Lankford & JD Drew are the featured acts in St Louis

Colorado - Another solid team. Young stud Todd Helton is complimented with Larry Walker & Darryl Kile

Feel free to come grab them. With a Rule V draft & revenue sharing, small market teams aren't quite as daunting as they can be in other leagues

After a hugely successful inaugural season (averaged about 25 lineups per sim), we are about to start the league's first off-season

Some big name free agents will be available - Randy Johnson, Edgar Martinez, Rafael Palmeiro, Kevin Brown, Craig Biggio & more....

We also now have a few openings in the league (Florida, Kansas City, & the Mets). So if you want to join one of the more active leagues around, check out the league's forum & join up



Also, if you're new to mogul leagues, no worries, we have mutliple threads in our forum that break things down simply for newer GMs, easing the learning curve

Only team left open is the Baltimore Orioles, who won the 1998 World Series! Very active xat and dedicated GMs. Come on and claim them.
