    2015 April report

    April/2015 record: 13-9, 2nd, 0.5 GB Cincinnati
Team batting average: .274. Team earned run average: 3.54.
Runs scored season: 117. Runs allowed season: 91.
Player of the Month: David Freese batted .302 with 3 HRs, 18 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Pitcher of the month: Shelby Miller went 4-0 with a 1.21.
Closer: J.J. Putz converted 7 of 8 save opportunities and has a 0-0 record with a 2.70 ERA
Notes: We've played pretty well and led the division for much of the month. In addition to Freese's big month, Allen Craig, 3 HRs, 12 runs and 14 RBIs, had a big month. On the mound, can't really complain about any of the starters. Adam Wainwright was 2-2 with a 3.09 ERA. Jamie Garcia was 3-1 with a 5.14 ERA. Jason Hammel was 1-2 with a 2.30 ERA and Tom Milone was 2-1 with a 3.86. The biggest issue is the bullpen has been a mess. Salas has an ERA of 11.57. I think I may have to make a trade, neither Allen Craig or Matt Adams is getting the playing time they deserve, to land me a solid right-handed reliever to handle the eighth inning. For the month, we scored four runs or more in 14 of 22 games. We allowed four runs or more in 13 of 22 games.

It looks like this is the end

I am sad to report that I am seriously thinking about abandoning this season of mogul and the dynasty it is part of.
It's probably due to my old computer more than anything, but the game has become too unstable for me to continue playing.
Game play, for the most part, is fine, once I can get it up and running.
It is sometimes slow between innings and may hiccup as it tries to pitch.
But trying to call up boxscores and play-by-plays, along with trying to print them, takes forever. The saves between games take forever. Just starting the game up is a crapshoot, sometimes I need to override it and start over.
Although, the game itself sometimes seems to override the task manager and not allow it to do its job.
So unless, I can get his computer up to speed in the next day or so. I am probably done with this dynasty. We didn't win a world series, but we were competitive. Hope you enjoyed it.
I will file again, if I determine that I can get the game to the point where it worth my while to continue.
